Blu Win HD LTE reportedly getting Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2

Blu Win HD LTE apparently getting Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2

Blu introduced the LTE version of the Win HD a few weeks back. We already reviewed the device and came out pretty impressed. If you happen to be a proud owner of the handset, reports suggest it’s getting the Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 is found on some Windows Phone handsets — the Lumia 640 and 640 XL shipped with the new operating system, while previous reports suggest that Lumia 735 and 830 did get the update in some regions.

Although it’s not a major software update — the major one is the Windows 10 Mobile which is expected to see the light of the day later this year — it does bring some enhancements, bug fixes and features to improve the overall user experience. The update adds MKV video support, improved Settings screen, and lots of bug fixes and improvements.

You should keep an eye on the notifications to see if the update has arrived on your Win HD LTE or manually check for it via the Settings.
