Video game-related merch comes in all forms apparently, and today Blizzard has announced one of the more unusual items to appear recently with its official Diablo cookbook.

Diablo: The Official Cookbook will be available from Insight Editions on October 24th, 2023 for $34.99. The book’s 192 pages will feature more than 60 recipes for both food and drink. The recipes will be based on the Diablo universe, and characters and locations therefrom. According to the book’s description on the Simon & Schuster website,

Take a culinary journey through the dark fantasy world of Sanctuary with Diablo: The Official Cookbook, a flavorful compilation of recipes inspired by Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic series.

Diablo: The Official Cookbook will be available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Bookshop and Indie Bound whenever orders become open.

Diablo is a classic dark fantasy action-roleplaying dungeon crawler. It is by no means the first gaming franchise to get its own official cookbook. Others include God of War, Fallout, The Witcher, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls and Assassin’s Creed as well as Halo. Who knows?—video game cookbooks may be an emerging trend.

The next installment of the Diablo video game series, Diablo IV, is still set for a June 6th release at this point.
