Bing flat as Google’s real-time search snatches share from Yahoo

The September search-engine rankings are in, and it’s not great news for Microsoft.

Thanks largely to its new real-time search feature, Google’s U.S. share dramatically shot up 0.7 points from 65.4 percent in August to 66.1 percent in September, according to comScore numbers released today. Meanwhile, Microsoft’s search partner Yahoo fell the same amount, its market share dropping from 17.4 percent in August to 16.7 percent last month…
