Best Buy offering the original Surface Pro 128GB model for $599, while supplies last

The holidays are nearly over and Best Buy is offering the original Microsoft Surface Pro 128GB model for a discounted price of $599. This price is after a $300 discount along with free shipping. In comparison, Microsoft is offering the same model for $679.00 at the online Microsoft Store.

The Surface Pro features Windows 8 Pro, which can be upgradable to the recently released Windows 8.1 update. The device features a 3rd generation Intel Core i5 Processor with Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4GB RAM, 10.6″ ClearType HD Display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080, as well as two 720p HD cameras (front and rear).

The Surface Pro received a $100 price cut back in October, when the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 were launched, brining the price down to $799. Microsoft then slashed the price to $679 in early December as part of a promotion to kick off the holiday shopping season. In comparison, you can snag the lowest Surface Pro 2 model (64GB) for $899 – so if you want to avoid playing more and you are not concerned about having the latest and greatest, the original Surface Pro 128GB might be the best option for you.

If you are in the market for the original Surface Pro device, packed with 128GB of storage, hit the VIA link below to snag the device from Best Buy. You better hurry though. This could be a temporary price cut and supplies are likely limited.

Update: It appears the Microsoft Store is now offering the device for $599. So head over to Best Buy or the Microsoft Store to snag it!
