This months Patch Tuesday is set to feature nine updates to various Microsoft products, including Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, Exchange, and SQL Server. Of the nine updates, five are rated “critical” and four will be rated “important.”

August Patch Tuesday will feature nine update, five of which are rated “critical” and address remote code execution in various Microsoft products, such as Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, Exchange, and SQL Server. The other four patches are rated “important” and deal with remote code execution as well as elevation of privlidges. This will be the first set of patches that include a fix for Exchange since December 2010. No other details are available just yet on these patches. August Patch Tuesday goes live August 14th.
