Today at IFA, ASUS announced a new Windows 10 powered PC-on-a-stick called the VivoStick PC. Like other PC-on-a-sticks, the VivoStick is a dongle sized mini-PC that can be plugged into the back of any TV or monitor with an HDMI port, and instantly bring a full working Windows 10 desktop to that screen. It is an idea device for a traveler or business person who wants to have that flexibility of a PC in their pocket, or for anyone who wants to transform their living room TV into a PC.
The VivoStick PC comes with the following specifications:

  • Windows 10 Home
  • Intel HD Graphics
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 32 GB Storage
  • 802.11 b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • 2 x USB 2.0 ports
  • 1 x audio jack (mic/headphone combo)
  • 1 x HDMI Out
  • Dimensions of 5.43 x 1.34 x 0.59 inches (WxDxH)
  • Weighs 0.15 lb. or 0.07 kg

The VivoStick PC will be priced at $129, making it cheaper than Intel’s Compute Stick ($150) but a little more expensive than Archos’ PC Stick ($99).
The VivoStick PC was also displayed in a couple of different colors and comes with a clean rounded styling that looks like it would fit quite comfortably in your pocket. ASUS describes their choice in styling it as resembling a fountain pen. No word yet on availability.
