Amazon’s Fallout TV show has finally gotten a release date, and it’s not that far off. The Fallout show will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024. While that’s still nearly six months away, it’s nice to see the premiere finally on the horizon after what has been a long wait with few updates.

The first trailers, both official and otherwise, have appeared over the last few months, with the first coming during the Gamescom 2023 event back in August.

The premiere date announcement was made on October 23, which is “Fallout Day”—that is, the date in the Fallout game series’ lore on which the Great War begins. The announcement was posted on various social media platforms.

The live-action adaptation will star Walter Goggins and Ella Purnell. It is the latest in a slew of video games to get the movie and TV adaptation treatment. Others include The Witcher, Halo, The Last of Us and many others.
