Amazon app and official facebook app for windows phone updated with new inprovements

If you happen to be regular users of the official Facebook app for Windows Phone, or the Amazon app for Windows Phone, there are two updates waiting for you in the Windows Phone Store. While the Amazon app update is minor, the Facebook app now features the new improvements see in its beta counterpart.

“The Amazon App allows Windows Phone users to quickly search, compare prices, read reviews, share products with friends, access Today’s Deals, and make purchases on Amazon using a simple, yet elegant, interface. To make on-the-go shopping and price comparison even easier, the Amazon App includes helpful shopping features that allow users to scan a barcode or type a search to quickly compare prices and check availability,” the app description reads.

With the Amazon app, customers have full access to their existing shopping cart, wish lists, payment, and Amazon Prime member shipping options, order history, and 1-Click settings. The Amazon app was bumped to version 2.4.80.7 and simply fixes bugs and improves performance.

Facebook, on the other hand, was bumped to version 8.3.1.0, adding all the newest features from the recent beta. This includes a fresh UI facelift, in addition to a slew of much needed bug fixes and performance improvements. The update also adds a details page for posts and Messenger support! The app also supports video uploads.
