alwaysON announces validation accreditation for unified communications solution

Microsoft® Lync™ helps users connect in new ways, anytime, anywhere.

Last week, alwaysON announced the launch of Lync. The alwaysON ‘customer-first’ philosophy means that all new products are subject to rigorous validation processes. This best practice approach ensures that product functionality and stability can be verified prior to deployment in a customer environment. alwaysON have now completed their validation processes, confirming that Lync is accredited for use across the alwaysON network.

“Validation accreditation is a vital element in the alwaysON product launch process. Our validation schedule enables us to replicate the product in a number of scenarios, to ensure the product is both fit for purpose and to troubleshoot any potential deployment issues. Organisations should seek to appoint vendors that have validated the Lync solution to avoid delays or service downtime during the deployment phase. These issues are typically associated with the integration of Lync into a wider communications infrastructure or may arise as a result of migrating to Lync from an alternative solution. Such delays can add unnecessary time and costs to an installation” (Dan Tremeer, alwaysON Unified Communications Architect)

alwaysON has a flexible Lync offering, appropriate for a broad array of customers. Lync is available with options for both licensing and deployment methods; single tenanted (on-premise or hosted) or multi-tenanted (hosted only). Lync can be further complemented with voice services from alwaysON to enable internal, edge or PSTN voice integration.

alwaysON is an integrated voice, data and collaboration solutions provider. Specialising in managed networks and hosted applications, alwaysON provides private cloud access as well as secure cloud based solutions.
