At Adobe MAX 2017 today, Adobe announced that Photoshop CC will be picking up custom Surface Dial integrations. In addition, it also was detailed that for the next three months, Adobe will be including 90 days of Adobe Creative Cloud with 1TB of cloud storage for free with the purchase of new Surface devices.
Adobe is moving heavily into the cloud, introducing a new version of Lightroom that’s easier to use, works across mobile, desktop, and the web, and integrates directly with Adobe’s cloud offerings.
With the Surface dial functionality, Adobe CC users can expect to have options to manipulate commonly used Photoshop tools and tasks such as Size, Opacity, Hardness, Flow, and Smoothing. The functionality builds on what was added in Adobe Premiere Pro, definitely helping Artists bring out their inner creativity.
Lastly, from October 18 to January 18, 2018, consumers purchasing new Surface devices will be eligible to receive a free three-month trial of the Adobe Creative Cloud with 1TB of cloud storage. The offer is valid in all retail stores where Surface is sold, excluding China and India. Creative Cloud is normally available for $49.99 a month, giving a subscriber access to the entire collection of Adobe desktop and mobile apps.
These new Surface Dial functionality and the free trial of Adobe Creative Cloud will no doubt empower a new generation of creators and Surface users to come.
