According to a report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta was recently updated on Windows Phone with some hidden new features. Judging from the update, it looks as though WhatsApp users might soon be getting support for Live Location & stickers on Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform.
The stickers function is still not live yet, and the report indicates that it may be implemented remotely in the future. Users who are seeing the stickers, though, can expect to see a “♥” icon in the notification center whenever a sticker has been sent to them, and open the app to see the sticker in full in a chat.
Also coming with the update is Live Location, which is a feature that was added to the iOS and Android versions of the application last year. At a time when Windows 10 Mobile is otherwise dead, it is great to see that more new features are coming to at least one popular app. Sound off in the comments below to let us know your thoughts on the features in this latest update.
