343 Industries publishes September Halo Infinite developer update in anticipation of the Winter Update and Season 3 – onmsft.com

The latest Halo Infinite developer update is available over on the Halo Waypoint blog. 343 Industries team members Joseph Staten (Head of Creative), Sean Baron (Head of Halo Infinite Live Service), and Community Director Brian ‘Ske7ch’ Jarrard sat down for a roundtable-style discussion about all things Halo Infinite, including priorities and player experience goals for the upcoming Winter Update and Season 3.

Among the many topics discusses were the Forge Beta (including a peek at two new maps the team created internally using Forge) and Campaign Network Co-Op. Also revealed was the name of Season 3: Echoes Within. This will arrive on March 7. You can see the updated Roadmap below.

Halo Infinite roadmap update for September 2022

The Winter Update will launch on November 8; among its content additions will be a new mode called “Covert One Flag”—which will feature asymmetrical loadouts for the attacking and defending teams.

To be sure there is much to keep Halo Infinite fans excited for in the coming months. Stay tuned for more Halo Infinite news as it breaks.
