Ok this has suddenly turned in to a somewhat monumental day for Windows Insiders. New builds for Windows 11 Beta Channel, Windows 10 Release Preview Channel, Windows 11 Release Preview Channel (original release), and now Windows 11 Release Preview Channel (22H2) with build 22621.1631 have all been released within minutes of each other. Windows 11 22H2 Insiders in the Release Preview Channel get a couple of new features:
- New! This update changes firewall settings. You can now configure application group rules.
- New! This update adds animations to a few icons on the Widgets taskbar button. These animations turn on when:
- A new announcement appears on the Widgets taskbar button.
- You hover over or click the Widgets taskbar button.
