Sea of Thieves will be the next video game to come to a tabletop near you thanks to Steamforged Games. If you are unfamiliar with the U.K.-based company, Steamforged Games has been around since 2016 and is responsible for the Dark Souls, Monster Hunter and Elden Ring tabletop adaptations. So it is safe to say everyone’s favorite swashbuckling massively multiplayer high seas action-adventure is in good hands here. Check out a brief showcase of the company’s work below.
The Sea of Thieves tabletop adaptation will be titled Sea of Thieves: Voyage of Legends and will retail for $59.95/£59.99/€59.95. The set will include 24 standees, 10 standard dice, and over 150 cards.
Steamforged Games co-founder Mat Hart said of the project,
From a creative perspective, Sea of Thieves’ distinctive art style has been a real pleasure to work with, and looks just as evocative on tiles as it does on screen. Rare captured pirate magic with their compelling gameplay loop, and that’s something we’ve strived to bring to the board game, too.
Sea of Thieves: Voyage of Legends will release sometime this summer. A specific release date is likely to be announced sometime in the near future.
