As we had earlier reported, there was an indication that Microsoft was working closely with OpenAI to enhance the search experience in Bing by incorporating ChatGPT features. The tool will help generate human-like responses rather than just displaying the usual links.

And now, a new report has surfaced indicating that Microsoft is building further upon this premise and will be reportedly adding ChatGPT features to its Office apps, that is, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. For those unfamiliar with the tool, it is an AI-powered tool that is used to process language naturally.

If this is the case, this new integration will help users to generate text automatically using natural language prompts across the Office apps. That said, the report indicates that Microsoft has added the ChatGPT features to Microsoft Word which will help enhance its autocomplete feature. It will also help improve the search experience in Microsoft Outlook.

Per the report, both Microsoft engineers and researchers have been working on AI tools for a while now that will help users create emails and documents. Microsoft should also consider the privacy of the users when it decides to deploy this tool across its products. The report further indicated that the company is working on ensuring that the user’s data is safe.

Microsoft is yet to announce the incorporation of these features across its products, therefore, we will have to wait and see if it will eventually roll them out. Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
