You can get a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership for $39, down from the normal price of $59

Microsoft has announced via Twitter today that interested gamers can snag a a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership for $39, down from the normal price of $59. The deal is available via Microsoft Store, Best Buy, and Amazon.

With an Xbox Live Gold membership, Xbox gamers can have extra benefits such as multiplayer gaming, free game deals, and various other discounts. Microsoft previously discounted the membership to $39, but eventually that promotion went away. No word if this promotion is also for a limited time or if it is a permanent price drop.

For the majority of February, Microsoft is also offering a $50 discount on the Xbox One with Kinect, making the console available for $449 between February 8th and February 21st. Head over to the VIA link to check out the Xbox Live Gold offer.
