This weekend marks the Daytona 500, the start of the NASCAR season, and if you’re looking to celebrate, or just have some downtime while waiting for the big race, team Xbox wants to help out.

As part of the latest Free Play Days, you can play NASCAR 21: Ignition, or NBA 2K22 for free with your Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership from Thursday, February 17 at 12:01 a.m. PST until Sunday, February 20 at 11:59 p.m. PST. If you like the games, you also can buy them at discounted prices, seen below.

  • NBA 2K22: Standard Edition: $19.79 instead of $60
  • NASCAR 21: Ignition: Standard Edition: $35.99 instead of $60

For those who aren’t stock car fans, NASCAR 21: Ignition is the latest NASCAR video game. It sports all the official drivers, teams, and tracks from the 2021 season. And, it has enhanced graphics and broadcast-quality cutscenes. As for NBA 2K22, it’s a great game for basketball fans as it lets you jump in and play as your favorite teams, without even having to go outdoors.

To enjoy these games for free, all you need to do is find and install the games through Xbox.com with our links above. You’ll then be sent to the Microsoft Store, where you can sign in to install with your membership. On a console, you can click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store, and then enter the Gold member area and look for the Free Play Days collection.
