Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10041 heads to slow ring

Microsoft has been making a big deal out of pushing builds out to Windows Insiders early, so much so that it’s initiated a “slow ring” and “fast ring” system to allow testers, if they’re brave, to get the very latest bits, even if they’re a bit buggy.  Those in the fast ring got build 10041 last week, and now, after some issues with start menu transparency have been fixed and pushed out, the Windows team is ready to give build 10041 the “slow ring” stamp of approval.

That’s according to our usual source, the illustrious Gabe Aul, on Twitter which you can read below. So that makes build 10041 officially old hat, doesn’t it?  For those of us in the “fast ring”, here’s hoping that another new round of builds is coming soon.

We will be pushing 10041 out to the Slow ring today as well. Will begin deploying within the hour.
