Windows 10 promo video touts "familiar things" with the best of Windows 7 and Windows 8

Microsoft has released a new promotional video advertisement that runs for 46 seconds, showcasing ten reasons why you should upgrade to Windows 10. The video touts “familiar things” with the best of Windows 7 and the best of Windows 8, creating an all new awesome experience that is Windows 10.

The video briefly touches on the familiar start menu, live tiles, as well as the free upgrade offer. If you feel like you have seen this video below, you probably have. Interestingly enough, Microsoft released a similar video last month which went a bit more in-depth (the video was over a minute long) and showcased Microsoft Edge and gaming on Windows 10. It appears like Microsoft trimmed down this video to make the final promo video, which we have embedded below for your viewing pleasure. The company plans to showcase more videos until July 29th showcasing various reasons why Windows 10 is worth your time.

“Discover why Windows 10 is the best combination of the Windows you already know, plus lots of great improvements you’ll love having. And all of your stuff comes with you, so you’ll be ready to do great things from the get-go,” the video description reads.” Check out the video below. Windows 10 launches on July 29th.
