Microsoft has just released a new set of updates for Windows Insiders running build 14342, bumping the build number up to 14342.1003. This build looks to be rolling out for both mobile Insiders and desktop insiders, with desktop insiders receiving the new bits via a cumulative update. Mobile users will download this update as a full new build, meaning gears migration will occur.

This new set of updates appears to feature only new fixes, making stability of this build much more tolerable. Microsoft says this patch fixes an issue “that occurs where you can’t close Microsoft Edge or get context menus to work if you turn off all extensions without uninstalling them. It also includes a couple of fixes for some issues causing some devices to bugcheck (Bluescreen). “

For mobile, Microsoft says:

This build is exactly the same but with some additional fixes to improve reliability of this build on devices.
An issue with the build number showing up incorrectly in settings also appears to have been fixed. Finally, build 14342 is now available for the slow ring too. So, make sure you get checking for updates! Lot’s to download!
