Microsoft has just dropped a new set of firmware updates for the Surface Book, Surface Pro 4, and the Surface 3 LTE. As Windows Central notes, these updates are focused on stability, and also enhancements for when the devices are in connected standby mode.

On the Surface 3 LTE, the firmware update improves the reliability of mobile broadband connectivity. Meanwhile, on the Surface Pro 4, the firmware updates bring improved system stability when resuming from sleep or hibernation, optimization for battery use while in connected standby mode, and a fix for the issue where the touch screen remained active when the clipboard is closed against the keyboard.  The Surface Book, meanwhile, also gets the same fixes as the Surface Pro 4, in addition to a fix for fewer unexpected shutdowns while the device is sleeping.

So, have you received these firmware updates? What are your thoughts on the fixes delivered by the firmware updates? Let us know by dropping us a comment below!
