Angry Birds Transformer gets a release date, arriving in Windows Phone Store on October 15

The beloved angry birds will soon go through a transformation. Parent company Rovio has announced the release date of Angry Birds Transformers, the successor to Angry Birds Star Wars. The game will be hitting several platforms including Windows Phone on October 15.

In the new title, the birds will be transforming into robots. The characters will split into two groups: Autobirds and Deceptihogs. The event revolves around the “EggSpark”, a mysterious object that has arrived on Piggy Island and transforms everything that comes in its path.

For the new title, Rovio has inked a deal with Hasbro, an American multinational toy and board game company. Watch the trailer below. Are you excited about the new Angry Birds game? Sound off in the comments below.
