Toshiba launches its $329.99 ‘flip-and-fold’ convertible Satellite Radius 11 laptop in US, shipping begins on October 26

\

Toshiba is launching the Satellite Radius 11, a new 2-in-1 convertible, or a laptop that can be converted into a tablet — whichever your prefer. The Windows-powered notebook comes with an 11.6-inch display and a 360 degree hinge; it is the same convertible laptop that Toshiba had announced last month, but now the company is just expanding its availability to America.

\

As far as the hardware specifications of the device are concerned, the 11.6-inch screen has a screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Underneath the device sits an Intel Celeron or Pentium processor, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. It comes with two storage options, users can either pick the 32GB flash storage, or a 500GB hard drive. On the connectivity front, it has 1 USB 3.0 port, 1 USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot, and an HDMI slot. It also comes with a front-facing HD webcam.

\

What’s more interesting about the device is its flexibilty modes. The Windows 8.1-powered convertible can be used as a laptop, tablet, tabletop, presentation, and audience, the company says. The display and the keyboard of the device automatically lock when the system is in tablet mode.

\

Priced at $329.99 MSRP, the Satellite Radius 11 will become available for purchase starting October 26. You will be able to purchase it from major retailers, e-tailers, and direct from Toshiba’s US website.
