Tiny Troopers makes its way to Windows Store

The folks at Game Troopers have launched their popular Windows Phone game Tiny Troopers for Windows 8 devices today. The game has received over two million downloads on Windows Phone in the first nine weeks of launch, and it seems the game will get a good response on Windows 8 as well.

As a player, you control a group of soldiers in different war zones as a part of a campaign, completing various missions, destroying enemies, saving journalists in war torn cities and much more. There are 30 different missions across three chapters, with your troops getting stronger the more they survive. Furthermore, the game features 20 Xbox achievements as well.

“Tiny Troopers has been such a huge hit on Windows Phone that we have been pulling out all the stops to get it ready for Windows 8 and I know people are going to love it,” said Jesus Bosch, CEO of Game Troopers. “Game Troopers was founded to make it easy for game developers to bring their games to Windows and Windows Phone,” said Bosch. “Successful games from iOS or Android can bolster their success coming to Windows, with the right promotion and positioning.”

Here’s a complete list of features

  • Tiny Troopers, Big explosions!
  • Guide your troops behind enemy lines.
  • Awesome firepower and pinpoint targeting.
  • XBOX Live Achievements.
  • Specialist soldier for spec-ops.
  • 30 strategic missions to accomplish.

Head over to the Windows Store using the link below to download the game. Let us know about your thoughts about the game if you’ve already played it on your Windows or Windows Phone device.

The developer further mentioned they are going to release more Windows Phone games over the next few months so it’s good to see there are still people who are aiming to develop decent games for the operating system.
