Surface pro 4 rumored to see the daylight this month

Microsoft’s Surface Pro is a great tablet with the added benefit of being a laptop, there’s no doubt about that, but it didn’t start off too well when the company first introduced it. Since then, the company made significant improvements in later models, which improved the overall user experienced of the tablet. In the past few weeks, we’ve heard several rumors that Microsoft is prepping the next iteration of the Surface Pro tablet — we did expect to get a glimpse of it at Build 2015 earlier this week but it never happened.

According to a new report from Slashgear, the alleged Surface Pro 4 will see the light of the day in mid-May. Although it’s just another rumor, it’s likely that Microsoft may take the wraps off the highly anticipated tablet later this month, considering the number of leaks we’ve seen lately. In case you don’t recall, Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 3 in May last year as well, so there’s a possibility that the software maker may continue the tradition, and give users a new Surface Pro tablet later this month.

Earlier this week, a report emerging from Chinese shores hinted at the possible specifications of the alleged Surface Pro 4 prototype, featuring the Intel Broadwell processor although it wasn’t specifically mentioned which model. The prototype was rumored to come with a similar 12-inch display, same connectivity options and ports, and will apparently be thinner than the current Surface Pro 3. Furthermore, it’s tipped to come with a fanless design, but it will retain the tiny holes around the tablet to radiate the heat and make sure it doesn’t get hot.

It all seems too good to be true, but we’ll suggest you to take it with a grain of salt. It’s just another rumor, and we won’t rely too much on it unless we get to hear anything from the Redmond-based company itself.
