If you’re on a Windows on ARM system like the Surface Pro X that has an ARM-based processor, then we have some good news for you. There’s now one more native app for you to enjoy, and this time, it is the heavy-hitting name that is Spotify (via Thurrott.com.)

Spotify did not really make a big announcement about this new optimized app, but rather talk about it over on the Spotify community. There, the company explains that to enjoy this experience, you have to uninstall the current client. You can then install the new ARM app at this link, and get regular updates automatically as usual. Do keep in mind though, that this is still a beta, and you’ll get one issue where video podcasts might not play properly.

Spotify’s beta comes just a week after Microsoft talked about Project Volterra, which is an incoming Mac-mini-like ARM-powered PC targetted at developers for/on the development of native ARM apps. The app also joins others like Firefox, 7-Zip, Photoshop, VLC, Netflix, Zoom, which have been tweaked to take advanced of ARM-based SoC like the Microsoft SQ2.
