Sending an email with a URL to me@onenote.com now clips a screenshot along with the content

OneNote has a fantastic feature that allows you to share a link via email to OneNote. Microsoft has updated this feature with the ability to not only email the contents of a URL, but also clip a screenshot along with it.

“We just made it easier than ever to clip the web – now, when you send an email with a URL to [email protected], we’ll clip a screenshot of the webpage along with the email’s contents into your OneNote notebook,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

All you have to do is send an email containing a single URL in the subject or the body. If you are on your smartphone, simply Share via email to [email protected] You can even forward emails to that address too.

If you haven’t already done so, head over here to set up your [email protected] address. Anytime the OneNote service receives a mail from your email address, it will add it to your default OneNote notebook.
