Is this the rumored 6 inch Nokia Lumia phablet, a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Note?

rumored 6 inch Nokia Lumia phablet

A screenshot of what appears to be a 6-inch display glass of a large Nokia phone leaked today, sparking speculation that this could indeed be the rumored 6-inch Nokia phablet that everyone is hoping for. This image reveals a few things about this unknown device.

First of all, based on the front panel, we can tell that this new Nokia phone sports an extremely slim bezel. Nokia is apparently already mass producing this device, featuring a large 6-inch display. With such a large screen, there most likely has to be 1080p support. With the upcoming Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update scheduled for the end of the year, it makes sense to assume that we might see this large device make its debut during the holiday season, if not sooner.

This large device would go head to head with the Android powered Samsung Galaxy Note device, which itself features a 5.5-inch screen. One can argue that a 6 inch screen is too large to hold or even use, but it makes perfect sense for those itching to own a Windows Phone 8 powered phablet.

Remember, a 6 inch Nokia Lumia device has not been confirmed yet so keep this as a rumor for now. Would you be interested in owning a 6-inch Nokia Lumia device?
