Microsoft and Adobe are teaming up to help armature creators, entrepreneurs and SMB’s get their foot in the branding door with a new freemium Creative Cloud Express promotion.

As the title suggest, Adobe is offering a new Creative Cloud Express app that is equal parts a free, web and mobile based experience for creators and small to medium sized businesses to leverage quick branding or marketing templates.

For its part, Microsoft is promoting the new app in its new Microsoft Store, giving customers a quick and safe way to grab the app and get started.

Creative Cloud Express offers access to literally millions of photos, fonts, templates, graphics, and other assets that give you a head start on any project. Finding what you need is easy through intuitive, intelligent search. And our assets are easy to remix. If you find a graphic you love, you can swap in your own image and Creative Cloud Express will automatically apply all the filters and effects from the original graphic.

Similar to a service such as Canva, Adobe’s Creative Cloud Express provides over 22,000 templates, access to tools such as animations, videos, PDF converters, Photoshop effects, Adobe’s stock collection of fonts, photos, icons, backgrounds and more.

Your Creative Cloud Express membership unlocks more templates, access to the entire royalty-free Adobe Stock photo collection, effects, and fonts plus premium features like Apply Brand, Customize Cutout, and Resize. Your paid membership includes the premium versions of the following applications:

• Adobe Creative Cloud Express on web and mobile (iOS and Android)

• Adobe Premiere Rush on desktop and mobile (iOS and Android)

• Adobe Photoshop Express on mobile (iOS, Android)

• Adobe Spark Video on mobile (iOS)

• Adobe Spark Page on mobile (iOS) *The Adobe Stock photo collection does not include Premium or editorial content. Limited Adobe Stock functionality available in web page and video features within the desktop app.

For anyone who has an Adobe CC account or works with Adobe files, this new Creative Cloud Express is yet another cross-platform tool to help armatures and semiprofessionals create quick and easy content on the fly.

As mentioned earlier, the app can be grabbed from the Microsoft Store, Apple App Store, Google Play and the web for free, but for $9.99 or $99/year customers can unlock 175 million Adobe Stock photos, 20,000 Adobe Stock fonts and extended access to a handful of other Adobe suite applications.

For anyone with a new Surface device, the addition of access to Adobe Creative Cloud Express is yet another bonus that comes bundled with the trial 3-month subscription to Adobe’s Creative Cloud suite.
