Microsoft

Today’s Convergence conference was squarely aimed at both enterprise and business customers, with a focus on productivity and the Internet of Things. Amid many announcements which dealt with cloud computing and data analytics, came the news that a preview for PowerBI is now available for users.

A powerful tool for analyzing data, PowerBI compiles information from a number of different sources, including Google Analytics, Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, Zuora, Acumatica and Twilio, into an easy to read format, making use of a minimal design and simple graphs. With the new preview comes new connectors, dashboards and reports for the service, expanding its capabilities significantly. Microsoft has released a video detailing these changes, which can be seen below.

Available in over 140 markets around the world, , including the USA, users with a business email account can pick up the preview today to learn a little more about the service before its release later in the year.

Will you be using the preview? Let us know in the comments below.
