Nokia X+ and XL to ship with a 4GB SD card pre-installed

Nokia X+ and XL, the other two smartphones in the X family that run a forked version of Android, are to be sold with a 4GB memory card pre-installed on them. On its conversations blog while answering questions circling around the X family, the Finnish giant revealed this rather good news.

Nokia X, the first Nokia phone running Android, is already available at many markets like India and Spain, and can be pre-ordered in China. The X+ and XL, on the other hand, actually sport better specs than the Nokia X and will also ship with a free 4GB SD card pre-installed.

Both Nokia X+ and XL sport 768MB of RAM and run a customized version of Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. It doesn’t come with any Google Mobile Services such as Gmail and Play Store, but there are enough places and ways to acquire the vast majority of Android apps. Nokia X+ sports a 4-inch screen, whereas XL is an inch larger, however, both sport the same rather low 480×800 resolution. The phones also come with rather insufficient 4GB of internal storage. Hence this 4GB SD card will really come in handy.

Both the phones will become available in coming weeks. And not to forget, both the devices also sport one-year free Skype international calls.
