Nokia Lumia 900

For those of you on AT&T and own a Nokia Lumia 900, the wait for an updated build of Windows Phone 7.8 is finally over. It appears that the update is rolling out now and brings along with it some new features.

AT&T is apparently pushing out this new update, build 2175.2307.8862.13100 (or 8862), which is newer than the recent update of 8858 that Lumia 900 users received back in January. So what’s new in this update? This update features a new start screen experience with resizable tiles that change in size, as well as lock screen improvements and new theme colors.

This update also addresses an issue that came up with the original update back in January involving Live tiles not being able to refresh like they should. The lock screen improvements allow for the Bing photo of the day as your wallpaper, as well as protection from accidentally typing your security code. Lets not forget about the minor tweaks and bug fixes that come with this update.

Head over to your Zune PC App and snag this update for your Lumia 900!
