Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720 now receiving Lumia Cyan Update in India

In some interesting news, several Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 handset owners living in India have got the Lumia Cyan update on their smartphones. This is interesting because the Nokia Software Update Tracker page still doesn’t list the update available for the aforementioned devices.

As far as the update to the Lumia 520 is concerned, WinBeta can vouch that it indeed is real. Microsoft India had previously stated that the company will be rolling out the update to the said device in within 10 days. However, we can’t confirm the same for the Lumia 720 handset.

Do note that if you have the Developer Preview of Windows Phone 8.1 installed on your handset, the update is not ready for your phone just yet, as the company is still working on a fix. Till then you could consider downgrading the operating system to Windows Phone 8. If that seems like an uncalled for annoyance, you can pay a visit to the nearby Nokia/Microsoft service center and they will be happy to do that for you.

Do leave a comment below if your Lumia 520/Lumia 720 is able to snag the Lumia Cyan update.

Thanks to Nawzil, and everyone who tipped us!
