Mobile World Congress 2014 is just around the corner, and will kick off on February 24th in Barcelona, Spain. Nokia has already sent out press invites for its event which will take place on the first day starting at 8:30 – 9:00 AM local time. If you can’t make it to Barcelona for the event, don’t worry as Nokia will be live streaming the event on Nokia Conversations, similar to Nokia World 2013 which took place in Abu Dhabi last year.

Last year at the Mobile World Congress, Nokia unveiled the best-selling Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 720, as well as a bunch of other goodies. This year, Nokia is expected to make some big announcements at the event in Barcelona, including the launch of highly rumored Nokia X, aka Normandy, which is expected to ship with a forked version of Android. If you take a close look at the image posted on the Nokia Conversations, you may recognize the teaser image hints at the Nokia X as well — take a deeper look in to the image posted above and you’ll realize, it shows a big “X.”

Additionally, there’s also a possibility we might hear some updates about the Nokia-Microsoft deal, which is expected to close out by the end of the first quarter.

Mark your calendars as the event will kick off on 8:30 AM (GMT+1), and make sure you don’t plan anything else if you want to witness the event live. We will be covering the event as well. What are your predictions? Will we see a new Windows Phone device from the Finnish Maker as well? Share your thoughts.
