Although Forza Horizon 5’s first major expansion – based on the Hot Wheels universe – just released a few weeks ago, it looks like a surprise DLC is set to arrive sometime in the next couple weeks. And apparently, it will be based on the YouTube channel Donut Media.

Donut Media is a channel for auto enthusiasts which currently has over 6.7 million subscribers. So it would be no surprise if many Forza fans are familiar with it. The channel’s about section reads in part

Donut Media is a channel for all types of car people, from JDM diehards to American muscle car enthusiasts and everything in between…Before you buy your next car, before you work on your junk car, before you go bumper 2 bumper, no matter what your wheelhouse is, we’ll get you up to speed at Donut.

News of the upcoming DLC came courtesy of the channel’s Past Gas Podcast and host James Pumphrey. During the podcast Pumphrey stated, “We’ve been under NDA for a long time, and this is the perfect time to announce that (co-hosts) Nolan, me, Joe, Jer, and Justin are all going to be in a Forza DLC pack.”

According to him, the DLC will release in August or September. There aren’t many specific details as to what the DLC will feature in the way of new cars and such, though more details will likely be revealed as the release date draws closer. Donut Media was previously featured in the Xbox Series X|S launch game Dirt 5, so there might be some indication of what to expect in that title.
