Just a little over a week after Microsoft announced the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4, pre-orders for the two devices were closed, leaving customers with the option to be emailed when the products will be available again. Just a day later it appears Microsoft has reopened preorders for most models of these two devices. This is great news for those looking to get their hands on the “best laptop ever built”, or “the tablet can replace your laptop”. The only downside to this is that those preordering the Surface Book may have to wait five to seven weeks after the official release date to receive their product.
If you are looking to get your hands on this Surface Book a bit earlier, you can still head to your local Microsoft store, but even then one may have a bit of a wait. Additionally, authorized resellers such as Amazon, Best Buy, and Target are also open for preorders. You can head over here to pre-order the Surface Book at the online Microsoft Store, just keep in mind you will have to wait close to eight weeks for the device to ship. Have you preordered either device from the Microsoft store? Let us know in the comments below.
