New Dynamic view is coming to Microsoft Teams meetings in March

Microsoft Teams will soon get a new Dynamic mode to make Teams meetings more engaging than before. Remco de Kramer, a Sr. Product Marketing Manager at Microsoft, has announced via LinkedIn that the feature will start rolling out in March.

In July 2020, the company announced Dynamic view and some other enhancements for its Teams collaboration platform, including Together mode, live reactions, and video filters. These features are designed to make meetings and teaching environments more effective and inclusive. While some of these capabilities are already available, Teams uses are still waiting for Dynamic view, Video filters, and more.

Currently, there is no option for the meeting organizers to show shared content and specific participants side-by-side in traditional video meetings. The new AI-driven feature will give users more control over how they see shared content and fellow meeting attendees on the screen. The dynamic view will include new controls for organizers to pin key participants next to the content that is being discussed in the meeting.

Microsoft continues to improve Teams on a regular basis, recently adding Live captions for 1:1 calls and a new multiple number dialing experience. However, some highly requested features, like native OS notifications and meeting reactions, are slated to arrive later this month.
