Microsoft’s Surface 3 LTE Lands On Verizon For Business Professionals – onmsft.com

A couple of months back we reported on AT&T becoming a retail business partner with Microsoft. The partnership would allow Microsoft to sell its Surface 3 LTE devices through AT&T to business customers with carrier specific promotions and deals.
Not to be outdone it looks like the other largest mobile carrier provider in the US, Verizon, is getting in on the action as well. Verizon recently announced its plans to sell the Microsoft Surface 3 with Verizon’s 4G LTE to business professionals.
Verizon is selling the Surface 3 with 4G LTE for $649.99 (US) with a 2-year activation contract. For the business professional looking to stay untethered to Verizon, a Surface 3 with 4G LTE can also be picked up for $749.99 (US) without a contract.
Much like the AT&T deal, the devices will come with Windows 8.1 Pro that can be upgraded to Windows 10 Pro for free afterwards. Other specifics include:

A variety of accessories are also available to enhance the experience. The Surface 3 Type Cover Keyboard ($129.99) easily attaches to the tablet to add a physical keyboard and lets you type away without a virtual keyboard taking up screen space. And the Surface 3 Pen ($49.99) feels like an actual pen and lets you mark up presentations and sign documents, or quickly access OneNote by clicking the pen so you can have a notepad ready when you need it. A Surface 3 Docking Station is also be available for $199.99.”

While the Surface Pro 3 has been arguably the choice of many, a Surface 3 with LTE should not be overlooked.
