Earlier today, we learned that Chinese smartphone company Alcatel, famed for its low-cost products, is currently developing a phone for Windows 10 soon. Alcatel is reportedly “very supportive of the Windows ecosystem” and is looking forward to embracing Microsoft’s mobile platform.
According to Evleaks, known for his credible information in the smartphone arena, the Alcatel device running Windows 10 Mobile will arrive on T-Mobile. No other details were revealed and the phone is expected before the year ends.
Evleaks also revealed details of a Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, which could be the name of this entry-level Windows 10 Mobile device. According to him, OneTouch Fierce XL will boast a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
The device is also rumored to include an 8MP main camera, 2MP front-facing camera, a microSD card slot for expansion, a 2,500 mAh battery and ships with Windows 10 Mobile as its operating system out of the box. The handset is expected to launch in December and on T-Mobile.
