Microsoft offers free Xbox Live Gold subscription access for three days in select regions – onmsft.com

Xbox Gold subscription

For those of you who do not have a Gold subscription package for Xbox Live, Microsoft is offering three free days for you to try it out. Between October 4th and October 6th, Microsoft is offering Xbox Live Gold for free in select regions.

“Have you ever wanted to check out the entertainment experiences and apps on Xbox Live? If you’re not currently a Gold member – this weekend is your chance. We’re unlocking Xbox Live Gold this weekend in the regions below, which means the entire catalog of entertainment experiences and apps as well as multiplayer gaming are available to anyone and everyone on Xbox 360 for free* from Oct. 4 – 6,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

The regions that are eligible are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.

Microsoft is even taking things a step further and unlocking Xbox Live Gold in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico on October 11th to the 14th. Microsoft is also unlocking Gold access for Japan on November 7th to the 10th.

For those of you on the fence about obtaining a Gold subscription to Xbox Live, now is your chance to try it out and see what you are missing out on!
