Microsoft backs off adding Cortana integration to Dynamics 365
Despite having Cortana integration for Dynamics 365 in preview, the company has decided against adding its own virtual assistant, Cortana, to its CRM platform.
Redesigned calendar is coming soon to Outlook.com beta
Beta users of Outlook.com are to receive a redesigned calendar. A teaser image of the new calendar shows more consistency between Calendar and Mail.

Microsoft to publish fiscal year 2018 second-quarter earnings on Jan. 31
At the end of the month, we’ll be seeing how Microsoft’s different divisions are performing, as the company publishes its second-quarter earnings for 2018 on 31st January.
Azure customers should not see a “noticeable performance impact” due to Intel, AMD CPU vulnerability patches
As news of 2 vulnerabilities in CPUs from Intel, ARM and AMD broke out, reports have suggested that the patches to resolve the flaws would deliver a performance hit of between 5% and 30%. Despite this, Microsoft is saying that its Azure customers should not see a “noticeable performance impact”.
