Microsoft introduces Office 365 Public Roadmap to keep users updated with changes

Like Windows, Office 365 receives a lot of updates as the software is tweaked and evolves. For users who like the idea of keeping their fingers on the pulse, the launch of a public roadmap for Office will come as great news.

Microsoft says that it has learned a lot from customer feedback about how users want to be kept informed about updates — something that is particularly important for business users. The launch of a public roadmap means that everyone is able to see the changes that are on the horizon. This provides valuable planning time for businesses that need to consider the rollout of updates, but it also gives peace of mind because of the improved transparency.

In addition to the public roadmap, Microsoft is also launching a new program called First Release. This enables those who sign up to obtain the latest updates faster than normal — at least two weeks ahead of a wider launch.
