Today, Microsoft launched Microsoft Teams Pro which is designed to provide an integrated experience and bridge the gap between physical and digital workspaces. Teams Pro replaces Microsoft Teams Standard and Microsoft Teams Rooms Premium offers as we had earlier highlighted. Microsoft Teams Rooms, previously Skype Room Systems, has been receiving a ton of updates and features that are all geared toward enhancing its user experience, for instance, Meet Now support for Microsoft Teams Rooms devices and an improved calling app as well.

With Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro, users will get to access all of the existing Teams Rooms features, new innovations, and the Teams Rooms managed service platform conveniently under one license at $40 per month.

At this rate, you will have exclusive access to features like intelligent audio and video that will let the users feel both heard and seen courtesy of advanced camera capabilities with AI support and the combined input of high-quality audio and video from Microsoft Teams-certified devices.

Teams Rooms Pro also comes with additional support for increased engagement as it will unpack features from the personal Teams meeting experience like raise hand and live reactions. It will also be easier for the meeting attendees to collaborate on projects and tasks through Microsoft Whiteboard as they can easily add a touch display to enable multi-user, shared whiteboarding, or add a content camera.

And finally, Teams Rooms Pro comes with enhanced security and management such as access control, remote configuration, and device analytics, as well as IT service management (ITSM) integration. “Teams Rooms Pro also includes the Teams Rooms managed service platform, which provides AI-driven operations that automate updates, problem detection, and resolution at scale”.

Small businesses can still schedule and attend meetings with Microsoft Teams Rooms Basic for free. Remember, you will also be able to access it for free provided you made a purchase of any certified Teams Rooms device on or after September 1, 2022. But if your organization’s needs are a bit more demanding you can upgrade to Teams Rooms Pro which comes with a one month free trial.
