Lumia 930 launches this week in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East for $599

Microsoft has revealed today that the 1080p 5-inch Lumia 930 will arrive this week in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. This device, powered by Windows Phone 8.1, will come in a variety of colors and packs quite a punch.

For $599, you get a 5-inch 1080p display with a Snapdragon 800 SoC, and Adreno 330 GPU on board. There’s a 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, as well as a 20MP camera with PureView technology and Carl Zeiss optics as well. The device also features a fantastic 2,420 mAh battery. It’s the first high-end device to run the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

The Lumia 930 will be available in bright orange, bright green, black, and white, with sales beginning this week in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Further rollout throughout the world (except the US) will continue over the coming weeks. You can check out the promo video of the Lumia 930 below.
