Microsoft has released today new Patch Tuesday Updates for all supported versions of Windows 10, including the new version 2004 (May 2020 Update) that started rolling out in the last week of May. If you’re already running the latest version of the OS on your PC, you’ll get the build 19041.329 (KB4557957) today which includes the following fixes:
- Updates an issue that prevents you from using some voice commands in Windows Mixed Reality when the default Windows language is Canadian or Australian English.
- Improves the reliability of the keywords used for voice assistants, including Cortana.
- Updates to improve security when using Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge.
- Updates to improve security when Windows performs basic operations.
- Updates to improve security when using Microsoft Office products.
- Updates to improve security when using external devices (such as game controllers, printers, and web cameras) and input devices (such as a mouse, keyboard, or stylus).
- Improves security in Microsoft Xbox and the Microsoft Store.
- Updates for verifying usernames and passwords.
- Updates for storing and managing files.
Microsoft says that it’s not aware of any known issues in this update, which doesn’t mean that the company has fixed all the issues in the latest version of the OS. According to the Windows 10 Health dashboard, Microsoft is still investigating 9 specific issues, and the company has still some upgrade blocks in place due to compatibility issues. However, the company has fixed the Errors or unexpected restarts for some devices using Always On, Always Connected feature, and for some reason, this hasn’t been mentioned in the release notes for the build 19041.329.
The versions 1909 (November 2019 Update) and 1903 (May 2020 Update) of the OS are also being updated today. As these two versions share a common core, the release notes for the build 18363.900 and 18362.900 (KB4560960) are identical, and you can find them below:

As usual, Microsoft is also releasing new security updates for Windows 10 versions 1803, 1709, 1703, 1607, and 1507 today, though the new bits are only available for Windows 10 Enterprise and Education users.
