In an event scheduled for September 27th at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Intel will showcase the company’s “Clover Trail” Z2760 power-efficient system-on-a-chip processor to big companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, and ZTE.

Intel's windows 8 tablet event takes place september 27, big companies to show off tablets - onmsft. Com - september 19, 2012

“A media event to showcase the latest Intel-based tablet and tablet convertibles, and announce details about the next generation Intel Atom processor (formerly code-named ‘Clover Trail’),” Intel stated in an invitation sent out to journalists. Intel will be showcasing these tablets running Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system. Interesting enough is ZTE and what role they play at this Windows 8 tablet event as they have yet to officially announce a Windows 8 tablet. The event is scheduled for September 27th at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. More on this as it develops.
