Halo, one of Microsoft’s oldest and most popular video game franchises is about to get its own travelling fan experience. Microsoft has just announced Halo: Outpost Discovery, a travelling fanfest that will allow Halo fans in the US to immerse themselves in the Halo universe later this summer.

“Halo: Outpost Discovery is a touring fan experience for all ages, that brings the Halo video game universe to life like never before,” explained John Friend, Head of Consumer Products at 343 Industries. “This weekend-long event lets you step into Halo’s vast and epic world, with enthralling themed attractions, interactive in-universe encounters, the latest playable game releases and so much more.”

Microsoft has teamed up with themed-entertainment company Herschend Live to created the Halo-themed fan experience, and Microsoft promises “more than 300,000 square feet of activities” including real-life Warthog and Halo rings, laser tag arenas, as well as VR experiences.

Halo: Outpost Discovery will kick off on July 5-7 in Orlando and will travel to Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston and Anaheim during the summer. Tickets are already available on halooutpostdiscovery.com, with prices starting at $55.
