The official Facebook app actually only released a week ago given the official for Windows 10 PC. Microsoft has even told WinBeta that Windows 10 Mobile will be receiving a Messenger app at a later date. So it’s possible that Microsoft is simply ending the beta process for the Facebook Beta app, opting for a more direct release method.
