One of the many anticipated titles coming to Xbox (and other platforms) in 2023, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum looks like it may finally be coming our way after repeated delays. Daedalic Entertainment’s choice to allow the player to step into the role of Gollum is an interesting one. Needless to say, the upcoming action-adventure will have the opportunity to present a unique take on the Lord of the Rings universe.
The game got a new official story trailer during Thursday’s Nacon Connect livestream event. While we unfortunately didn’t get a release date to go along with it, the trailer looks pretty slick and if it’s anything to go by then we’ll likely get our hands on The Lord of the Rings: Gollum before year’s end.
The Nacon Connect 2023 stream also delivered much to get excited about otherwise with trailers for upcoming games like the roguelike action game Ravenswatch and psychological horror adventure Ad Infinitum. Also shown was the official launch trailer for Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, which released yesterday.
