An exciting new collaboration between Street Fighter 6 and TMNT was revealed over the weekend during the EVO 2023 event. (For those who don’t know, Evolution Championship Series is an annual fighting game tournament).
As seen in the announcement trailer shown above, the crossover kicks off tomorrow, August 8. Street Fighter 6 x TMNT will feature costumes, accessories, emotes, wallpapers, stamps, Titles, photo mode camera frames and more.
While the Turtles are not available as playable fighters in the gamer per se, you can transform your World Tour avatar into a Turtle with a perfect recreation, as is apparent in the teaser video.
The TMNT brand has really been on a roll lately with promotional crossovers, with last week’s Minecraft DLC crossover and, before that, the release of a pizza-scented TMNT-themed Xbox controller. It isn’t the first time the Turtles have appeared in a fighting game either, as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo appeared in an Injustice 2 DLC a few years back.
